Action was on from 8 in the morning till 7 in the evening.

New CEMC series to be held at the DRC meetings
Last weeks have been full of rumours, now we deliver you the facts: The brand new Central European Motorcycle Championship (CEMC) will be held together with the DMV Rundstrecken Championship and riders of the DRC/SMR can also register for the new series.
The CEMC has a long-term goal in delivering a riders orientated platform for young racers in the Central European area to provide a solid and affordable chance to step up to the World Championships. Karel Abraham sr., father of this idea, makes a real job of it: The winners of the overall ranking of each category will enjoy at least wild card rides in the World Championship and they will be fully paid by the series. The negotiations with the promoter of both World Championships - the MotoGP and the World Superbikes - are running at the moment and it is expected to give further details on that before the initial race of the DRC/SMR/CEMC at Brno.
Prizes are outstanding at the CEMC, from the usage of a Skoda car for one year over Pirelli tires, V.I.P.-tickets for MotoGP races through to material prizes of the series partners!
Who can take part?
The races of the CEMC are open to riders of any nationality.
All riders need a licence of one of the European associations. Holders of a licence other than the DMSB-one furthermore need a permission to take part in foreign races of their association. Additionally a club licence of the CAMS is compulsory.
There will be three categories included into the CEMC - the Moto1 including the STK 1000, the Moto2 including the STK 600 and the Moto3 also including the two stroke 125s. Only the race result is going to the overall ranking for the CEMC - not distinguishing from classes, only the finish is important.
The competition conditions and the technical regulations are the same to the DRC/SMR and can be found at www.dmv-rundstrecken-championship.de/en under “Regulations”. There will be no exclusions because of missing homologations or other restrictions.
How much is that and what do I get for?
The registration for the CEMC will be charged with 40 Euros only and contains the CAMS club licence already. The annual entry for all 5 events costs 1.925 Euros and includes the practice- and qualifying sessions on Saturday as well as the Warmup and two races on Sunday. Furthermore the third-party insurance and the lease of a transponder is included.
Take note: Calendars of the DRC/SMR and the CEMC are a bit different, see below. The Moto3/2-stroke 125s will be on track at the Hockenheimring from 20th to 22nd of September 2013 as part of the IDM-championship instead of the 7th and 8th of September like the other classes.
2013 Calendar CEMC:
20. - 21. April: Brno/CZE
25. - 26. May: Sachsenring/GER
08. - 09. June: Oschersleben/GER
06. - 07. July: Brno/CZE
07. - 08. September: Hockenheimring/GER*
*without Moto3/2-stroke 125, they will race from 20.-22.09.13 at Hockenheim
Additional practice days will be prefixed to all events except Sachsenring and can be booked separately.
How can I register for the CEMC?
Registration can be made at www.dmv-rundstrecken-championship.de and a registration for the DRC/SMR at the same time is possible.
At the same place the events can be booked and the annual registration can be made.
DRC strengthens Moto3/2T-category
Youth empowerment following the Spanish example
In 2013 the Moto3/Two-Stroke category of the DMV Rundstrecken Championship (DRC) will be further strengthened. Beside the DRC Junior Trophy, in which 1.000 Euro in cash will be handed to the winners of the Moto1, Moto2 and Moto3 categories, Promoter Bike Promotion will boost the competition also. In the smallest class, where 250cc 4-strokes are competing with 125cc/250cc 2-stroke machinery, a more suitable calendar has been announced. Youngster will have to have a showdown with international more relevant race tracks in Germany and Europe - a good step towards the World Championship.
To take part in the DRC Junior Trophy participants of the Moto3/2T class must not exceed the age of 18 by the start of the season. In Moto1 and Moto2 categories the maximum age for the Trophy is 22 years.
The season opener at the Grand Prix track of Brno in the Czech Republik will also be the scene of the first race for the young guns. Thereafter the Lausitzring will be the next venue for the Moto3 riders at the weekend of the 11th and 12th of May. Next races will be held together with both of the bigger categories of the DRC at the circuits of Sachsenring, Oschersleben and Dijon (France).
The finals of the national Moto3 championship of Germany will be held together with the cracks of the Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft (IDM) at the Hockenheimring, where the date will be 20th to 22nd of September 2013. It will go ahead just two weeks after the finals of the DRC Moto1- and Moto2-classes as well as the Racing4fun categories at the same venue.
Michael Dangrieß, CEO Bike Promotion:
“The decision to have the Moto3/2T125-classes on partially other race tracks had a sporty character. The DRC is Germanys national championship and therewith the substructure of the highest German motorbike sports. We just wanted to offer our youngster, that are preparing themselves for a international career, better possibilities. The IDM will be racing at the Lausitzring twice in 2013, at Brno and at the Sachsenring Grands Prix will be held. To have ‘our’ Moto3 riders in the IDM moto3 at the Hockenheim will be also good for their development overall.”
2013 calendar for Moto3/Twostroke:
Brno 20.-21. 04. 13
Lausitzring 11.-12. 05. 13
Sachsenring 25.-26. 05. 13 (no practice day)

But still it’s going to be very close as I can’t attend the next race at Hockenheim. Then I’ll be racing at the 24 hour world championship race at Le Mans for the Bolliger Kawasaki Racing Team.”
Moto2: Nadalet again with a double
Pascal Nadalet won both race of the 600s. The Swiss rider, who is competing in the Superstock 600 championship, got 50 points home at Most, plus had to celebrate the victories 5 and 6 in a row.
Already the first lap of the first race saw Michael Peh going down. The rider from Saupsdorf wanted to challenge Nadalet in the fight for the victory when the chain of his Yamaha snapped and he had to go down. “I think it went into the rear wheel as it suddenly blocked and I found myself on the ground. But I am ok”, Peh said.
Second race had to be red flagged due to an starting incident in the first corner. A slightly over-motivated competitor took several of his opponents with him down. For safety reasons the race had to be red flagged and later it started again over the full distance.

Best weather and fine action with the DRC in Most
The Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic was the scene for todays qualifyings and races for the 4th round of the 2012 season of the DMV Rundstrecken Championship DRC. Timed practises were held in the Moto1-, Moto2- and Moto3-category, first races went ahead in the evening. 250cc Two Stroke Championship was won by Axel Friedrichs, Maurice Ullrich got the victory in the Moto3/2T125-class. Horst Saiger won in the Moto1-race and got the full points for the Superstock 1000 championship. Alex Schacht from Danmark got 5th overall and won the Moto1-category.
Tomorrow’s Sunday will see 8 more races. Moto1 and Moto3 had their first sessions already today and will have a second race tomorrow whilst Moto2, ItaloKings/Racing4Fun and the KTM Superduke Battle will have two races.
Moto1: Saiger grabs Pole and Victory
Austria’s Horst Saiger got the Pole Position with 1000cc bikes. The Kawasaki rider got on a 1:37.206 lap in the afternoon and classified himself only 0,649 seconds ahead of Marc Wildisen. Lorenz Sennhauser and Chris Burri also got in the first row, which was made out of the top riders of the Swiss Superstock 1000 championship. Best Moto1-rider was Alex Schacht on his Ducati Panigale on 5th place.
Race itself unfolded with a 5-rider-battle at the front. Saiger, Wildisen, Burri, Sennhauser and Schacht fought a hard but fair battle for the lead. By halftime Schacht lost contact to the leading group, but his Moto1-victory already seemed to be sure.
Sennhauser and Burri also were not able to keep in touch with the leading duo, but Burri earned the last podium spot. Battle for the victory was on until the last lap between Wildisen and Saiger but with some backmarkers Saiger got a slight advantage and earned the win. Wildisen got second.
Horst Saiger, Pole Position in 1:37,206 Min.: “It was good and I tried a softer tire today and was able to improve my lap time. But I don’t think this will be possible in the race, as I only had this one soft tire.”
Horst Saiger, Winner STK1000: “I was able to get the lead right at the beginning and tried to slow down a bit. I wanted to have enough power and tires left for the final stages. But I had a look at my lap times now - they have been constantly in the range of 1:38 min. So it wasn’t too slow, wasn’t it?”
Alex Schacht, Winner Moto1: “It was my first time on the Ducati Panigale today and it was just too slow. I wasn’t able to follow the guys at the sharp end. In the slow right-hander at the end of the track I had a crash. I was able to hold the clutch and follow the pack very quickly. It was just a front end slide. The level in this championship is very high. It is fun to go racing with the faster guys and to learn something. Normally I am riding the 600cc European Championship so this is a real good training for me here.”
Moto2: Pole Position for Pascal Nadalet
Pascal Nadalet gained the Pole Position of the Moto2-class. The Kawasaki rider, who recently won four races in a row, got a 1:40,550 min lap in. Championship-contender Michael Peh only lost three tenth of a second. Florian Hüsler and Manou Antweiler completed the front row.
Moto3 & IG Koenigsklasse: Wins for Ullrich and Friedrichs
Frank Koch gained the Pole Position on his 250cc-two-stoke Honda RS. With a best effort of 1:47,021 he went about 8 tenth quicker around the Most track than young Maurice Ullrich on his Aprilia RSW125. Later was the only other rider to break through the barrier of 1:48 Minutes and got the second place in the qualifying. He also was the best Moto3-rider.
Race itself wasn’t the best for Koch. The Honda 250cc two stroke rider had to bring his Honda RS250 back to the pits for some repair work and therefore wasn’t able to fight for the victory. This time it was Axel Friedrichs, who saw the chequered flag on his Honda RS250R as first rider, Honda-rider Mario Lindner got second. On his Yamaha TZ250 Ron Schönefelder got also on the rostrum.
Ullrich gained a commanding win in the Moto3/2T-category - with a lead of 10.2 seconds. Max Enderlein gained the second place after a hard fight with Kevin Stocker, who got third by a margin of 0,454 seconds.
Maurice Ullrich, Winner Moto3: “Today there was a lot of traffic and in the race I wasn’t able to match my pace from the Qualifying. Then I was able to ride 1:47s, now only 1:49. But I got the win and increased my lead in the championship. I am happy.”
500cc category was won by Othmar Atzmüller on a Yamaha TZ360. Stefan Bayer (Suzuki RGE 500) and Rolf Becker (Yamaha YZR500V4) also got on the Rostrum.
Superduke Battle
KTM Superduke Battle saw Stefan Helldobler gaining Pole Position. With 1:43,887 he clearly was quicker than the rest of the pack. Second placed Dirk Schnieders almost lost one second on the pace setter. Qualifying also saw Christoph Bursig and Hendrik Ladiges reaching the front row of the 28 riders strong field.
DRC marching towards finals - 4th round 2012 in Most
DMV Rundstrecken Championship is heading into crunch mode. Upcoming weekend (25th to 26th of August) will see the 4th out of 6 rounds of the 2012 season in Most in the Czech Republic. Also the 3rd round of this year’s season took place here so most of the riders are heading into the second half of the season with a good base set-up.
Moto1: Christiansen (almost) in control of his own destiny
Danish rider Jan Christiansen could well be crowned Moto1-champion this weekend but would need some help of his competitors for that. On board his BMW S 1000 RR he dominated the season so far in a manner also Jorge Lorenzo does - Christiansen either got second or won the races. As a result he now almost has double the points than his hardest rival Björn Stuppi behind him. 67 points the Danish rider is clear at the top and with a bit luck for him and some bad luck with his opponents he well could gain the title at Most already.
The fight for the second spot is still open and close. Stuppi (68 points) is only 5 points clear of Ferdinand Schmarje. Daniel Bergau (50, all BMW) and Kawasaki-rider Simon Oeland (40) are still in touch with the runner-up spot. Daniel Schmitz is lying 6th at the moment and pilots the best Suzuki GSX-R 1000 - only on point behing Oeland.
Moto2: Torpsgaard or Harmuth
Also in the Moto2-category the lead is held by a Dane. On his Kawasaki machinery Rene Torpsgaard was able to step on the podium in 4 out of 6 races. Last time out he earned a double win at Most. Only at Oschersleben it didn’t work out for him, when he had to settle for 4th and a DNF in the rain. Only 19 points behind Honda rider Randy Harmuth is waiting for his opportunity. He won both races at the seasons opener at the Schleizer Dreieck and stepped on the podium for a total of three times so far. Nico Butzke is holding 3rd place and gained his first podium shot the last time here at Most.
Superstock 600 championship is lead clearly by Michael Peh from Saupsdorf. The Yamaha R6 rider won all races so far this year but the first one at Oschersleben. He is 52 points clear ahead Carsten Merz, who also is convincing with a constant pace: Merz earned four 4th places and two 3rd’s which brought him 84 points in total. Third is Alexander Knaf who got second 4 times, but also had two DNF’s so far.
Moto3: Ullrich and Schultheiß in a affair of honour
Moto3 is a very tight battle between the generations of racing - 125cc two stroke bikes against the new 250cc four stroke ones. Maurice Ullrich, a promising young talent, earned four victories on his Aprilia RS 125 so far and got two 3rds also. He is leading the championship with 132 points. Behind him on the runner-up position Marcel Schultheiß is a serious competitor who banks on a Honda NSF 250. He got winner-glory also once and celebrated three 2nd places and one 3rd. A further 4th place at Schleiz brought him up to 114 points. He is only loosing 18 points on Ullrich.
250cc two stroke championship is also tight. Three riders were able go celebrate victories so far this year but it’s likely that Frank Koch and Wolfgang Schuster will be the main title challengers for now. Schuster won 4 out of 6 races but has to face also two DNF’s. Koch at least got second in every race, won the first moto at Oschersleben and is now 25 point clear ahead of Schuster.
Swiss Moto Racing SMR - Racing at it’s best!
As always DRC is taking place together with the Swiss Moto Racing, the SMR. Also here fans can expect some exciting racing at Most. Top class of the confederates is the Superstock 1000, which always provides thrilling action. Horst Saiger, Lorenz Sennhauser and Marc Wildisen always meet on an equal footing but Saiger was the one the fortune smiled on. He won five out of eight races, got two more seconds and on fifth. The reigning Swiss champion now has 176 points to his name and is 41 clear of Wildisen, who, together with Sennhauser, where the other two with abo’s on the podium. But both had troubles at Oschersleben. Also Peter Hiltbrunner, Chris Burri and Christian Künzi earned rostrums so far.
Moto1 category of the Swiss championship is very close. Hansruedi Berger and Stéphane Bourgeois are leading with 114 and 112 points each respectively.
Superstock 600s are led by Pascal Nadalet at the moment. The Kawasaki ZX-6r-rider won 4 times in a row last times out and got 160 points to his name. Michel Eigenmann has 115, Mihcael Peh 112 points. With Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha there are three manufacturers at the top of this SMR-championship. In the Swiss Moto2-championship Rafael Siegrist, Marcel Ryter, Stefan Schönbächler and Michael Kirchhofer are trailed by only 18 points.
Class “Italo-Kings” sees only bikes from Italian manufacturers plus the Suzuki B-King-Challenge. Martin Biegler (MV Agusta F4 1000 MY), Alain Andenmatten (Ducati 1198 S) and Adrian Wohlwend (Suzuki GSX R 1300R) are leading their championships respectively.
Third round of the DRC at Most / CZE
Third round of the DMV Rundstrecken Championship went ahead at Most last weekend and the conditions couldn’t had been better: bright sunshine, no rain and temperatures around 25 degrees.
Moto1: Wins for Saiger & Wildisen
Lorenz Sennhauser was able to gain Pole Position but didn’t manage higher than third in both races – even though he fought till the end for the victory with his rivals Marc Wildisen and Horst Saiger.
This time Saiger and Wildisen shared victories. First race saw ex IDM rider Wildisien on his BMW winning by a margin of just 0.244 seconds, in the second race it was Kawasaki rider Saiger who was in front by 0,417 seconds.
Jan Christiansen and Chris Burri took fourth and fifth in both races.
Moto2: Nadalet conquers Most
The Autodrom Most seems to be THE track for Pascal Nadalet. The Swiss rider dominated the weekend in the Moto2-class. With 1:40,557 Minutes he gained the pole position already and second placed Michael Peh from Saupsdorf lost one second over the Kawasaki ZX 6R. Michel Eigenmann and Florian Hüsler where also set to start from the front row.
And both races where won by Nadalet. First moto saw the Kawasaki rider gaining a lead of 10 seconds over Peh, who also brought his race home alone. The Yamaha rider got a gap of four seconds over Hüsler, who had to fight hard with Eigenmann to the line. Rene Torpsgaard from Danmark was the last to enter the top five.
Second race didn’t see that big gap’s but again it was Nadalet who won by over 5 seconds over Eigenmann. Peh only secured third place in front of Torpsgaard and Christoffer Andersen.
Moto3: Ullrich gains Pole and double win
Maurice Ullrich has been good in form at most. The Aprilia RSW 125 rider took pole position and was the only one beside Axel Friedrichs to lap under the 1:48 minute mark.
Both races saw Ullrich winning the 125cc-classment of the Moto3-category. The 12 year old talented rider saw the finish line 14 seconds faster than Marcel Schultheiß on his Honda NSF 250 during the first race. Third place went to Carmen Geissler on a Moriwaki MD 250H. 250cc-two stroke classment went to Axel Friedrichs in front of Wolfgang Schuster and Andreas Götti. Very beautiful to see was the growing participation in that under-category of the Moto3-class: In practice there did take 18 250cc two-stroke bikes part. The 500cc category was won by Othmar Atzmüller on a Yamaha TZ 350 in front of Rolf Becker on his Yamaha YZR 500.
In the second race the winners name was again Ullrich in the 125-two-stroke/250-four-stroke class. He won in front of Schultheiß and Steffen Grämer. 250 two-strokers where won by Schuster in front of Götti and Frank Koch in third. Atzmüller repeated his 500cc-vicotry, this time in front of Ron Schönfelder on a Yamaha YZR 500 V4.
Italo Kings: Doubles for Wohlwend and Harmuth
Adrian Wohlwend took pole position on his Suzuki GSX 1300 RR in front of Randy Harmuth, who just lost 0.085 seconds on his MV Agusta F3 675 – the same bike as Daniel Leibundgut behind him rode.
MV Agusta Intercup saw the same podium twice: Randy Harmuth won in front of Thomas Netzker and Charles Blunier. The Suzuki-Cup was similar. Both times the podium was formed by Adrian Wohlwend, Markus Schmid and Jörg Weber.
MZ Cup: Double for Strauß
Andre Siemon took pole position but only by short 0,017 seconds over Knuth Strauß. Also Paul Dedericha was not far away and the third rider to managed the jump under the mark of 1:58 minutes. Kai Rosenbaum was set to complete the front row, but lost out almost one second on the pace.
First race saw Strauß upping the pace compared to qualifying. The Lungkwitz rider won by over eight seconds, leaving the pack behind him in a three-way-battle for the rest of the podium. Pole setter Siemon was able to gain second spot by only two tenth of a second over Norbert Schäfer – who was able to hold Dedericha behind him by 44 thousands of a second.
Second race was a analogy of the first one. Strauß again opened a gap of over eight seconds and earned the double. Behind him it was again a trio fighting for the last podium spots with Siemon getting second in front of Mario Wilhelm and Schäfer.
Rainey cold Sunday in Oschersleben
Weather wasn’t on the side of the riders of the DMV Rundstrecken Championship at Sunday’s (3rd of June) races. With only 10° Celsius and rain it was a pretty tough day at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. But none of the 185 participants of the weekend retained from riding – even though they could imagined themselves better conditions.
Moto2: Roman Stamm does the double
IDM regular Roman Stamm took the opportunity to test his Suzuki GSX-R 600 at the DRC weekend and took both victories in that class. The Swiss is well known as a talented rider in the rain and was lapping on his own. Maximum point score went to Danish rider Sören Tillemann Träger who got 25 points each to his name as wildcard rider do not gather points in DRC.

Saiger was able to increase the lead in the overall standing – also because his hardest opponents where in some trouble during the rain soaked races in Oschersleben. International Road Racing Championship (IRRC), Thuringian Motorrad Pokal, Italo Kings and the Moto3 classes had to fight in one race each, whilst Moto1 and Moto2 only had one race on Sunday as well as the Superstock 1000.
Moto1 - Altendorfer manages the double
One day after his first win Filip Altendorfer was able to repeat the Moto1 triumph. BMW S 1000 RR rider managed to contain Schubert teammate Daniel Bergau and fellow BMW rider Jan Christiansen from Denmark.
Michael Rapp took 4th spot on his Aprilia RSV4, Thomas Flückiger got 5th on a Ducati Panigale.
Filip Altendorfer: "I only had a wildcard here but those things we wanted to achieve, we achieved. Two victories are good, of course, but our target was to test for the Endurance World Championship. We wanted to check some things with the bike and chassis and so on, to be ready for our next important race. I think we achieved that quite well. Let's get rolling now!"
Moto2 - Harmuth declassifies his rivals
Randy Harmuth also took victory in the second race of the Moto2 class (former Supersport open) and declassified his rivals. Almost 12 seconds where the gap to Michael Peh from Saupsdorf, who managed to pull a better start than the day before.

DRC grid growing
Grids of the DMV Rundstrecken Championship and the Swiss Moto Racing are growing. Until now there are 37 entrys in Moto1-class (SBK open & STK 1000) in the DRC and the SMR - and registering for those championships is still open until the 20th of April 2012. Also the variety of manufactures is nothing to sneeze at. With Ducati, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and BMW almost every manufacturer of 1000cc Supersport-bikes will be on the grid.
Moto2 (Supersport open & STK 600) looks similar. At the moment there are 32 entrys registered, thereof 18 in the Superstock-600-Championships. Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda and Suzuki will be the used 600cc-bikes in this category.
Looking at the two-stroke classes one can announce some good news.

DRC/SMR- Final in Hockenheim (en)
Dear friends,
we have to inform you about a change in the dates for DMV Rundstrecken Championship and Swiss Moto Racing. Unfortunatly Hockenheim change some dates and so it was necessary to switch our date to 10th/11th September. Opposite we switched the date on Eurospeedway Lausitz to the 16th/17th July in co-operation with the track management. The training days before are also safed. We know that anybody planned holidays, printed advertising materials a.s.o. We hope the difficulties are not to hard and the new calendar brings also benefits for the series. Now the final dates of DRC/SMR and the IDM will not take place on the same weekend. So we hope for more riders in the classes, f.e. from Dunlop Yamaha R6 Cup.

DRC/SMR- Finale in Hockenheim (de)
Liebe Rennstreckenfreunde,
- Lauf 1 Schleizer Dreieck/D
29.04.2011-01.05.2011 - Lauf 2 Motorsportarena Oschersleben/D
26.05.-29.05.2011 - Lauf 3 Eurospeedway Lausitz/D
14.07.-17.07.2011 - Circuit Dijon/F (nur SMR)
05.-07.08.2011 - Lauf 4 Automotodrom Most/CZ
01.09.-04.09.2011 - Lauf 5 Hockenheim/D (IDM-Kurs)
08.09.2011 - 11.09.2011
